There is the location and the date! Right now I have a about 15 cars lined up to go.. I want like 50! That would look sooooo cool! 50 mini coopers rolling down PCH! Whoo hoo! Exact location and time soon to come! Mark your calendars!!!

GRRR BABY! My Emma and I will definetly be there!!! I can't wait to see all the lovely cornucopia of MINIs! Mark it on your calendar, kids! And bring your camera!
For those of you near/in Ventura County, please check out the post titled "Conejo Valley Cruise Night!":
Bring your MINI on Saturday nights now through August 31st! Exit the 101 at Wendy Drive in Newbury Park. It's the shopping center near Target and Home Depot with all the eateries at the Village at Newbury Park Shopping Center. You can't miss it! 5-9 pm! It's like Cruisers, only on Saturday and in Ventura County. Plenty of AWESOME hot rods, classics, and other tricked out cars and trucks to check out. Lots of good food at the eateries in the plaza (Subway, Fan Ting, The Habit, Baja Fresh, Daphne's Greek Cafe, Coldstone Creamery, and more!). Free raffle drawing each week sponsored by the "Octopus 95.9 fm Classic Rock". Bring your MINI to socialize with other MINIs- we can park them all in a row!!!

!8th is the day I'm passing thru coming back from Seattle trip in my BRG & White Cooper, Brooksie! I'll try to be there, just depends on traffic from the Northwest. Sounds like fun!

Aarrrghh! MINIclo was bumped and re-skedged to board the Aquarian Leader (head of the hippies, I guess) on 7/25 and should arrive at Port Hueneme 8/19, the day after your MINImeet!

The exact location is not finalized yet, I still need to know the head count before I can finish getting that done, but for sure it is going to be in Hunting Beach Main St near the pier! Plan on coming around 12 in the afternoon if not maybe a bit earlier! I am so excited that you can make it! Ill keep you all posted. PM me with other questions or anything else! Thanks!

Sorry that I won't be able to make it but at least I'll be with you in spirit. I grew up in HB but my job has forced me to live overseas and run my Cooper on the autobahns of Germany. I love driving in Europe with the "HB" sticker on the back because no one can figure out where I'm from. Have a great day on the 18th!!

I'm bummed that you can't come out with us, but I bet driving your mini in Europe is incredible. Next time when you drive about the autobahns think of us and pretend that you have a long line of coopers behind you! If you come back to vist when we have a meet I'm sure you will be a great tutor to the inexperienced driver... do you have any pics of your HB mini? Thanks for the good wishes!

Not a bad idea about the time change- I was jsut concerned for our friends who are coming from SD and Ventura area- I don't know how early they want to wake up?? It up to you guys- I'll take a poll when the date gets closer, thanks for the suggestion- did you check out the post about the T-Shirts yet??

Jeanna, I think since weekend traffic is so awful, meeting earlier saves us some of those hassles. Then we can wind things up a little earlier and hit the trail home before the 405 becomes the usual Sunday afternoon parking lot. I noticed on another forum that an East Coast MINI Meet started at 7:30 AM!!! I am not suggesting anything so radical

For those of us still "waiting" for our MINI's, is it OK if we show up as well? I'd like to see all of the MINI's, chat with the lucky ones who've taken delivery, and see how they feel about the different "options".

We're coming in our Corvette, since baby isn't due at Port Hueneme until 8/19. Jeanna was very cool about it, so I think you should come, too!

But obviously you guys arent aware of the HUGE Mini Meet West event the following weekend at Orange County Fairgrounds. This is a car show, swap meet, autocross, banquet, cruise and more...and best of all it is all MINIS!
Its run by the Mini Owners Association of Los Angeles and brings in Mini owners from all over the world. Mostly old Minis of course, but they are welcoming the New Mini with open arms.
