March 18th Southern California MINI Rally
Just a reminder that the Night Owl Rally is coming up tomorrow, March 18th at 7pm.
THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN OR SHINE!
This is a nighttime charity poker rally with a scenic tour and chance to win SEVERAL raffle prizes and a large cash grand prize. All Minis - new and classic - are invited to participate. Note: If you don’t have a Mini, come anyway!
Donation is $15.00 per participant. Half of all proceeds will go to the grand prize; the remaining half goes to a charity of the winner’s choice.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PLAY POKER TO ENTER!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
7:00 to 7:30pm
Meet at Ricky and Ronnie’s in Torrance for an informal car show, dinner, and registration. You will be given a registration packet with your entry number, vouchers, directions, raffle ticket, and several other items.
Ricky & Ronnie's Cruise-in Diner
1301 W. Sepulveda Blvd. Torrance, CA.
8:00 – 8:30pm
Rally roll-out and caravan to first stage. The initial stage of the rally will be a caravan through the South Bay and Long Beach area and finally ending up at the first stop. Nothing beats cruising in a caravan with dozens of fellow Minis!
8:30 – 9:00pm
Proceed on a scenic route to the remaining stages while picking up sealed envelopes containing playing cards along the way. Note: following the first stop, participants may proceed at his or her own pace or may choose to caravan together – it’s up to the individuals.
Approximately 9:30pm
Regroup for a photo op. This is optional but should be fun.
10:30 – 11:00
Final destination for awards is The Shorehouse Café in Seal Beach.

At this time we will open our envelopes, and compare hands. The person with the highest hand wins the grand prize. We will also host a large raffle in which several prizes will be awarded. I hope to see you there!
