There are a few food places in the same center. That way if people want coffee or food it is around. Also, because the movie theater is there, it has a large parking lot.

edit - and i'll stick with the vegetarian goodies...

I hadn't seen a post on this site so I added one, hopefully we'll still be on and there will be a few peeps that show up. The mini will need a bath, it is looking a bit sad after all the flogging in the rain. I live in a construction zone, so you can imagine.....

Dang - we would LOVE to go but can't this time...perfect location though.. Our kids are here visiting from the East Coast and it's the last night we have together with them before they leave Thursday....next time...

Great idea!! Unfortunately weekdays (especially if it requires driving up to north county) are not great for me.

 

I feel a challenge coming on... Little Egg and I have been known to partake of the sea creatures of the vegeterian variety ...

 

If it comes to outeating..... I do smell the air of challenges...

We thought of weekdays because more people are usually in-town.. and once a month. hey, south San Diego should do one as well. Then we can all meet up.

 

Are you going? Will there be an eating contest? And most importantly, will you show off your partially finished tattoo of Tuls face?

 

I wish I could go. But for me to make San Diego by 7:30 on a Wednsday would a require a whole lot of luck, dedication and a slew of speeding tickets...

But I will make sure that you get a good look of all of my tattoos the first chance I get.

 

 

eating contest......hah....don't even get me started. During my junior and senior year of high school I would eat such a huge breakfast because I couldn't eat at school and I needed something to hold me over for 7 hours. Here is what I would normally eat for breakfast:

2 avocado, cucumber, lettuce, mustard sandwitches on sprouted bread
bowl of oatmeal
two pieces of toast with jam
bowl of kashi cereal with soy milk
glass of soy milk
smoothie with fresh fruit
an apple
a banana
a pear
a peach
a plum



I ate this pretty much everyday for two years straight . I don't really eat like this anymore(now it's 7 medium meals a day) but I think for an eating contest I can make an exception............as long as I don't have to pay for all that food.

 

Well it looks like they close at 8:00, so get there on time....
But they do have a nice large parking lot.


maybe next month somewhere new.
