>>Let's not forget to give credit where it is due, thanks goes to dbwilldo Don, Clover and Tracy .It was then who originally thought about Julian Run. You will see that is the case at beginning of this thread. Check out sone Julian run photos at the gallery.
Oopsie! Yes, It was a team effort, and everyone involved in the planning deserves a big thank you! This kinda thing is what I look for in a driver club of any kind. The roads were well suited to our cars, and well free of traffic, mostly.
Only close call for me was rounding a right-hand hairpin by m'self, and a full grown mule deer doe jumped into the road up ahead from the left, and stopped, startled! I hit the binders, honked the horn once, and she looked at me but didn't move! I was still comin' on, but as I was slowing, couldn't tell if she was gonna jump one way or t'other, so I honked long and loud again! She jumped back to the left, and spronked back into the trees, and I skidded a little to the right, and blasted on. It musta been my headlights!! Fun Run!

Just checked out the new website for SCMM. EXCELLENT!!! Very good job.
BTW, was anyone able to get their tires to break loose (slide) while going through the corners? Just wondering. I pushed mine hard enough to leave a stain in my pants (only one) when my brakes started to go away between Palomar and Lake Henshaw while playing catch up to the main group.

If you haven't checked out any of the pictures yet, there are some good one in the SoCal region gallery. Also, take a minute to visit the new website at http://www.scmm.org. If you didn't get a chance to sign up with SCMM on Saturday, you can do so on the website too!
Again, thanx to everyone who came. Watch soon for the next event!!!
