Need a stripe installer in San Fernando Valley
Hi,
I am around Sherman Oaks area. Does anyone know or can recommend a good stripe installer. Got some stuff coming from mightysripes and would like to have them put on.
TIA

Unless you are installing something exotic, do it yourself! It's easy. Simply follow directions and take your time. Installers will tell you it's tricky but they're just protecting their turf. I've done several and had no problems.

Well I am doing bonet sripes and numbers, door numbers and quarter panel stripes. Everything has to be measured, lined up, trimmed, ect. Ive spend a bunch of hard earned cash on this, so I want to make sure it gets done right the first time. And I know for sure I am not the guy for the job. I am especially concerned about putting the numbers on the bonnet as they will go directly over the bump.
Let's just say I would feel better having a proffesional do it.

Check this out. Sing-O-Rama . This guy is in Culver city, but that is close enough for me. Think I will give him a shot.
install
AestheticCreatrions is going to install stripe/roof graphics in Vegas for free. Just buy from them and they will install them free at the boot and bonnet show on Saturday.

10851CS,
Unfortunatly, I can't make the Vegas trip. Prior commitment. Plus I already got my stripes from Mightystripes.
Thanks for the info, though.

Got my stripes in on Friday but they were the wrong colors. :( Hopefully the replacements will come in this week so I can give it a shot next weekend.

The problem:
I had 3 sets of numbers - 2 doors, 1 hood. Neither I, nor the installer bothered to check that the hood set was slightly bigger (10 1/2 inches vs 12 inches). I wasn't there during the install, so by the time I got back the deed was done. After looking at the car it became obvious (at least to me). Not a big deal since I liked the bigger number on the door at the end, so I just ordered one more set of the bigger numbers for the other door and the guy will install it for free. I didn't think it was hi fault so I didn' try to get him to pay for the replacement numbers.
Will PM you with the rest.
