Just wondering... what happened to your tire/ what theory are you using as to why they should be covered under warranty.

well i got a flat yesterday, and after taking off the wheel and tire, i did not see any puncture mark or anything.all that i saw was a lot of blistering on the inside sidewall of the tire. so i want to take it in and see if maybe it is a defect or something

I took mine to Discount Tire here locally and they took care of me on a warranty issue.

I had a nail in the side wall with a few hundred miles on them and they suggested I contact pirelli. I did and they helped pay for a %

Buckeye, did you have any type of paid warranty? I blew 3 Pirellis in 2 months, they even sent a guy to my house to look at the tires, still on the wheels, and they did NOTHING for me. Sent me some letter about how it wasn't the fault of the tire, blah, blah, blah.

I really don't remember. I think I paid $100 for the new tire.

Buckeye, that wasn't my question. Did you have any type of warranty say through your dealer or wherever one gets such things. Why would Pirelli help you out with the cost of a tire because of a nail puncture? That's not even remotely related to a failure of the tire because of a defect or poor manufacturing. Please explain further.
