BMW of Escondido
I once had on '03 MCS that I had it garaged for a year while I was deployed to Japan and had it shipped to Pendleton via an auto carrier when I got back to the states.
At 1 month pass the warranty ending (and < 25K miles) Brecht/Escondido MINI refused to help cover a CEL error on the car. MINI USA was telling them to help, but still nothing.
If it was me, I would go to MINI of Irvine or try to order the A pillar cover and clips online. To get my car back from Brecht it cost me over $1,200. They are the absolute WORSE dealership/service dept I ever dealt with. Just for the record - I bought my 03 and 2011 MINIs in Richmond at Crown MINI and they have never given me any problems.

He's about an hour north of you (on the 15) but a great guy. I blew the A-Pillar off my car coming back from AMVIV south of Barstow (but north of 100mph
) and it was an easy fix. The dealer had the parts and I was back in one piece in no time.Steve
I had a run in at bmw of escondido... Was looking at a new bmw, the guy asked me how much I can afford. I walked away from him and another sales guy helped me. The original guy stared me down while I was looking. Watch out if you go there :/
