SoCal Dyno Day: March 27th. @ Canyon Racer.
Okay so a VW buddy of mine has organized a Dyno Day for the 27th at Canyon Racer Motorsports. Its open to all 2wd cars. SO I thought it would be a great opportunity for some local Cooper guys to dyno. I post the info below. If any of you guys have any questions just let me know and I will relay them to him. Hope to see a lot of you there!
I asked Mike to post this up, but he didnt. Im organizing a dyno day at Canyon Racer Motorsports for the 27th of March, which is a SATURDAY. $40 for 3 pulls is the best deal in town. It's a 2 wheel dyno also. I keep hearing this bull about a 'heartbreaker' dyno.. If you want unrealistic dyno numbers please dont come! his dyno is one of the most accurate when it comes to actual power you put from street light to street light every day. If you think your MKV makes more than 180 whp with no tune, youre crazy. Likewise, if you think you make over 270 whp on a k03 (looking at you ryyski) you're mistaken. If you want me to eat my words come down on the 27th and show me. The dyno day will start at 2pm, and will run as late as we need to. I know youre all thinking you want it to be as cold as possible for your dyno, dont worry. its always chilly down there, it wont be over 72*.
