Hey everyone,
Over the last couple months it's been really nice to meet a lot of you at the local street legal drags and various meets. Now that our fledgling website has a good user base, we figured it was time to have our own event. We are planning on driving up the Angeles Crest highway on August 2nd. A link to the thread on our site can be found here It has all the details on where we are meeting, where we are going, where we are eating, and what time everything is going down. Also my friend was kind enough to already make the drive and put together a video so that everyone can see what the drive is going to be like. Please let us know if you plan on coming because the place we're eating is kind of small and we want to make sure to let them know in case 30 people are coming. Sorry I'm posting this so late, I tried posting on every forum I know, but I actually didn't know about this one. My friend with a Mini mentioned it last night, so I figured I'd invite you guys along. We'd love to have some Mini's along though if you can make it.

 

But its MTTS tomorrow. I would be so down for this. Dammit

 

The next time we do stuff, I promise to give you guys more warning. I love Coopers quite a lot - I would love to own a Stick Cooper S someday The Cobra is a blast in a straight line, but it weighs a ton and doesn't handle at all. I think as far as overall packages go (handling, speed, usablility, price, build quality, etc) the Cooper is near the top of affordable cars.

Actually, it's $20 for the goodie bag. Most anyone driving a MINI can get in for nothing.

 

Isn't the ACH closed from Islip Saddle to Big Pine? We were going to cruise it on the way down from Vegas but the Cal DOT website told us the news...
