So as some of you may have heard I was attending DUBageddon 2008
Since our local Euro crew I'm in know the people who put on the show, we had a rough idea of how many cars were going to come out, but were we in for a surprise!
The morning started of us meeting up at Vons in the city of Walnut to go buy food to bbq for our Eurokreuzen group, we picked up all the food and the drinks, and off we were, we caravaned onto the 57 and went toward Bonelli Regional Park (it's the park by Raging Waters in San Dimas) and once we got in, we were in for a huge surprise, we saw cars beginning to line up to get into parking, we fortunately noticed a few open spots up front enough for us to fit the caravan cars in! By the time it reached 10 or 11, the entire row/section of the lot we were in was full or euros, people began to double park, etc...that was until law enforcement came later and have some people move, there was even a low rider show going on in the parking lot across the lake, in which the euros started to park in the empty spots in the low riding show section, many of them were amazed by our cars as we were with the stunts they were able to perform on their cars!
In the end, it was great times, great food, great music, a lot of fun with friends and meeting new ones, it would be awesome to have MINIs come out next year, as it's not just limited to VW as the title states, we had everything from Audis to Benz C63 to my MINI! We'll try to have a bigger lot next year to fit all the cars in, bring a scooter or a bicycle if you want to see all the cars! There were some people who brought a scooter just so it was easier to see all the cars as this event was HUGE!
Here are some pictures!
