All MINI/Mini Car Show in SoCal
From SCMM, an open invitation to the MINI Community of Southern California:
Hey Everyone,........We're putting on a "MINI only Car Show" on Sat. June 14th 2008 and would encourage all members to attend and exhibit their MINIs.
Show hours are 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM
The show will be at The Enderle Center in Tustin (just off the #55 & 17th St. east exit)
We've all been to car shows but this one is MINIs only and we're trying to get between 100 and 150 cars.
The event is also a fund-raiser so we're charging members a $10 entry fee ($15 for non-members)
YOU CAN SEND YOUR REGISTRATION CHECKS IN ADVANCE TO:

This event will be fun. There are 2 or 3 nice restaurants in the center.
There will be a few trophys given, a raffle, and door prizes. One trophy will be for the "best presentation at show" so if you think of a way to accent your car or display you could win.
We're not just looking for special show or race cars...any and all MINIs that respond to a washing and detailing. With over 600 members we shouldn't have trouble getting that number.
Due to concerns expressed by members with cars having some frontal road rash, windshield chips, small blemishes keeping them from wanting to show their cars we will add an award for the "Best Road Warrior" prize which needs chips,dings, etc to win
We'll be asking our friends at MOALA to join in so that we have several Classic Minis as well.
South Bay MINI and our own Amanda White will have a new demo car there for test drives by anyone interested in MINIs.
We'll have a lot of foot traffic there as well looking at the cars....so come join the camaraderie..!
We'll be asking for RSVPs in the May newsletter so we can get a reasonable count of participants.
Please mark your calenders and try to join us at this event...........

Of course you can!
This is open to the entire MINI/Mini Community.
It'll be at an open-air shopping center so it'll actually be for anyone with an interest in cars.
You can even participate if you're not a member of SCMM.
