Which Trader Joe's do you go to? I go to the one on Palms & Sepulveda.
I live up the hill from Venice & Centinela (which becomes Bundy at National by the SM Airport).
Los Angeles Road Rally Anyone?
Looks like we will have some players, great! I think I will call this rally “The 1st MMR (Montrose Mini Rally). I do not have all the details down yet, but I will give you the nuts and bolts for now. (1) This will be a “Course Marker Rally”. The Rally Master has signs placed along the intended route - some signs have information which you copy onto your scorecard (for scoring) and others have course-following information. The sign markers you copy on your scorecard distinguish among teams who traveled the correct route. (2) The route will be something like this; from Montrose, 210 fwy to 5 fwy north. 126 west to the Pacific Coast Highway going south then back to the finish at Montrose. Of course the route will be more laid-out (& not all freeway driving) when things are finalized. I think this path should keep us out of most heavy traffic areas and include some great scenic driving along the way. (3) The day will most likely be a Sunday in January or February 2008. I will need help making this rally work, so if you can contribute let me know how. Here are some help areas; (A) Trophy’s for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place are needed, (B) Someone that can help me set-up a “MMR” web site (as opposed to “MySpace”) to track entries & rally details, etc. I am trying to keep the Rally at a no-cost or very low-cost event for everyone that wants to have some motoring fun with their Mini Cooper buddies, so any help will keep the cost down. I will post more detail later…

It was 3 cookies and a milk for a buck when I was at UCLA (+0.10 per cookie for macadamia).
i've seen your car a few times and saw you in traffic once while i was in my car turning left onto westwood from santa monica. we waved, which was pretty amusing to my gf sitting next to me. i was in a cr/w mcs
there used to be a gp that i see regularly in the area, too
Awesome! I don't remember, but if I waved, I must have seen you. I find that the MINI wave isn't so popular in the Westwood area, at least from my experience.
I saw a GP (only one so far) going down Wilshire .. a guy in his mid 20's with a female passenger.
Do you have a Facebook by any chance??
Oh, and the Road Rally sounds fun!
