Just got my 07 MCS two months ago. I absolutely love my MCS. I was wondering if anyone around my area are also MCS enthusiast? I have been seeing a few Mini owner on the road. I say hi (by blinking my lights or waving) to most of them but they seem to ignore or dont know why im saying hi to them. haha

 

Damn, I was so sure I saw at least one who had a fixed-up cooper...

 

i live in Rancho Cucamonga! so im not far away from you
sometimes i see other coopers and cooper s and i flash my lights or at least wave a peace sign at them, but a lot of times i get no response. lol.

i drive a 2003 MC.

 

I work in ontario and live in yorba linda, and i take carbon canyon home a lot so I pass right through your area at least twice a week. Asto Black Metalic (dark navy blue) 06 Cooper S (Alice) with a Union Jack front place. Please wave and/or flash lights if you see us

 

Thats not too far from me. I work at Ontario, corner of Holt and Vineyard. Do we have Mini meets around this area? Would be nice to meet a few..

 

Where in Ontario do you work at? I too work around Ontario, right in front of the Double Tree Hotel around the convention center. Once I see fixed-up Minis i'll be sure to wave.

btw, I drive a 2007 MCS Pepper White, blackout grills and yellow fogs :D

 

Savage BMW over in the Auto Center, You can acutally see my car on display in front of the new MINI dealership we are building. My employee parking is one of the concrete display platforms in front of the dealership Im also wondering if there are any mini meets in this area since I've had Alice for a few months now and have yet to hang out with MINI people.

 

Maybe we should set one? Nothing too big, just local guys/gals? Been dying to find out what others have on their mini and see what I can do to my semi-stock mini lol.

yeah theres Manic Mondays every monday night at Ontario Mills right in front of the Sams Club/ behind the Arby's.

i work at the Montclair mall lol. meeting new people is always fun!

 

I just joined SCMM too and have been to a couple of events so far, its been really fun, is that thing on mondays at the mills just for MINIs?

 

^^ I guess there's only one way to find out, I'll swing by there on Monday night.

 

I have been to the monday night thing a few times. alot of other cars there along with minis. sometimes 1 or 2 minis somtimes 10 or more depends on the night. I too belong to scmm they are a great club, lots of events to choose to do.

 

Didn't realize that there's a fee to be a member at SCMM. But base on a few comments from current members, seems worth it.

 

Are there any mini driving activities in the area? Anybody want to take a spin up a canyon or something?

 

There usually an Inland Empire event on the second Sunday of the month. We meet in Claremont for lunch with a possible twisty run after. Check SCMM.org / regional events for the next one.
