MINI dealers in SOCAL advice...
Hey guys.
I'm looking to buy a new Mini within the next 90 days or so, and I'm looking for some advice on which dealership to go to.
I had a great experience so far with Kirk at Crevier Mini, but i've been seeing all kinds of horror stories about the service department over there.
so, anyone who has any wisdom on the subject, please chime in.
thanks

Nick Alexander plays ball $, plus they pick up your car with a flatbed and give you a MINI loaner for service (within 30mi radius).
Unaware of their service capabilities tho...
Talk to Josh Ross, he's the #1 MINI salesman in the world (...just ask him...).

I'll throw in another $.02:
I live just a few miles from Mini of Monrovia. It's by far the closest dealer to me, but I wouldn't go there again if they were the only remaining dealer in LA County. I'll admit that they've gotten much better since the "change" from Assael to MoM, but they still are a far cry from South Bay or even Universal for that matter.

So which LA area ones give you an equivalent loaner car? I know Crevier givse you a mini or at least a BMW when you go in for service, but I live in santa monica.... and crevier has that stupid markup for all their cars.
This alexander dealership, with the flatbed and loaner... sounds like the best thus far, if its true.

South Bay is good, but servicing is expensive there ($175 oil change), though you do get a BMW rental which is much nicer than the Chevy Cobalt I got from Monrovia MINI. I bought at Monrovia which was fairly painless.
I planned on buying another MINI from South Bay and Amanda was very helpful... until I decided to hold off on buying it (no emails replied back to me since). In person she didn't seem very friendly either, so I can't comment too much on the buying experience there.

I bought my Mini S (2003) from Brecht and have it serviced at Crevier due to their Saturday Service. I have not had too many problems with car or service, can't complain about Crevier. Their service dept. has been decent about sending parts to my local repair guy when needed whereas I have heard horror stories from independants trying to get parts from dealerships.
I had a pretty good experience buying from South Bay Mini, and their service department seems to be reasonably on the ball (haven't actually taken it in yet, so that impression may change).
My one brush with the service department at Crevier left me thinking they're complete jerks there.
