On Saturday I saw a LY/B MCS at Arizona Motorsports Park. Liscense was MACMINI. I couldn't find the owner(s). MiniMac, was that yours?

I wonder if the word MINIMAC or MACMINI has any significance??

Weird that someone else here in AZ had MACMINI plates on a MINI just like yours.

I know!
As for my MINIMAC......aside from my screen name and Mini Identity,
MINIMAC is my little Boy, Cade McGwire.
Mark McGwire was known as "BIGMAC".
So, I call Cade, "MINIMAC".
Like a play off of Austin Powers...Mini Me.

I was really Bummed when I found out someone else had it.

BIGHURT works though. Irony is fun.

I have seen a couple Liquid Yellows in town. One with a white roof and one with a yellow roof. They were both non S Minis.
However, last Friday on my way home, I did see a Yellow with Black MCS.
I was shocked! It was only a matter of time before someone copied me!

How is AMP?

>>How is AMP?

Plenty of potential out there. Skid pad, Auto-X pad(s), and slightly configurable road track. Just a matter of time before some of the big road-racing orgs will start to take a look at it. Not sure how much it can grow as far as spectator parking, but the skidpad and auto-x pad(s) can be converted into a paddock area very easily allowing some of the larger racing leagues to take a look at putting on an event or two there. The road course is much cooler than the one at PIR, more twists. But PIR has grandstands and AMP has not needed to put any in. Not sure if there's any room to put them in, even if they wanted to.

That sounds like fun to run....but not to watch.
I'm currious who it was out there with a Yellow one.
I'm not aware of any others on MCO in the Phoenix area with a Yellow MCS.

So, what kind of mods have you done?
Did you run?

Are you going to make it out to the Rally on the 3rd at the Dealership?
I'm going to be there.

Not many of the local MINI owners participate on MCO. I see so many car around yet hear of noone here. There's three in my little town alone, but none of them are MCO members.

None. Pure stock.

>>Did you run?

Nope, but like to watch. Would love to run but I have no $$$ for racing.

Yep!

Cool

There be more MCO peeps in the Phx. metro area. As far as AMP goes, last weekend SCCA had their Solo II event out there and I believe four MINIS took to the cones. While next door at the road course I spotted two MINIS on track there.
Heard that some CART teams were practicing there last week. Hope to see everyone out at MNS on May 3rd, don't forget to sign up for the rally at:
