So, I'd love to say "can we do it on a Sunday?" ...but i'm not sure how many of you are okay with that?
But i'll try anyway....ahem, can we do it on a sunday?
How do the 18th or 25th sound?
options:
1. south to Tuscon...head off on the 83 ALL THE WAY down to the border and come back up on the 92 through Sierra Vista
2. 87 to payson, 260 onward to show-low....back on the 60
3. 60 to wickenburg and then onto the 12 miles of terror (97) and over to the 89a....trot to prescott...back on I-17
4. 87 to payson and the onto the 260 west over to camp verde....continue onto jerome
5. 60 to globe, 70 to the 191, head up north to springerville and back on the 60
6. head to Tuscon and take the 86 west to the 85 and back up to the I-10
7. 87 to payson, 260 east and then on the 377 to Holbrook...come back the same way or on I-40 to Flagstaff, hit up the 89 to prescott....or just come back home depending on time.
if you have other suggestions, please....suggest away!

Gee, us folks in TUCSON like to see our city spelt correctly!
Maybe some of the folks from the TBCR (Tucson British Care Register), including me in my MCS, will be around to see you all go by! NOTE: Tthe TUBAC car show is on Jan. 24th and it is a GREAT one if you would like to go south on the 24th! Just a thought!

>>I've heard that 77 from Globe to Tucson is a good and twisty biker road.
>>Anyone been on it recently?
I've heard the same thing too, but have never been on it. Would love to go and explore. Sure would be better than the monotony of the I-10 drive to Tucson.
We'd definately need to get on the road prior to 11AM if we go.

>>I think that weekend is the same one as the PIR event with the classic minis. Pat has more info on that - now I don't know what to do.
Choices Choices Choices....isn't life grand! Remember the races will be there all weekend...Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday. http://www.az-region-scca.org/racere...dNationals.pdf

Has anyone driven the 83 all the way south?
Hafid
We run 83 all the time. If you want to go more than about 10 miles south of Sonoita we can meet you on our dirt bikes
The pavement gets fairly rough just south of 82 and then it's a dirt road that wraps around the southern edge of the Huachuca mtns.
You can get to Parker Canyon lake on the paved road, but it you want to make a loop you may want to go east on 82 to 90 and back to 10, or west on 82 to 19 and back to Tucson.

hmmmmm sounds like a great idea i cant wait to be able to drive on a road without snow. was in CO. over newyears and it was beautiful but snow everywhere. a huge pain in the but for those of you who know my driving habits. the mini did awesome though the dsc really works great. there were a whole bunch of 4wd gas suckers spinning off the road left and right and the mini just kept on going.
it will be great to see all ya all again too it seems like its been a really long time.
hey Haf. anything new for the mini?

Okay folks - we're meeting then at the south side of the city at that Denny's in Chandler and the I-10.....it's at Chandler Blvd and the I-10. We could meet at 7am for breakfast and then leave afterwards. Then we can meet up with the Tuscon folks at that gas station we met Jay, Jenny and Barney at. Anyone remember what exit that was?
