Wanted to start a thread so we could organize for those members from the S. Florida (Key West to W. Palm) who wanted to caravan over starting from somewhere around the Alligator Alley entrance. Post your ideas here! :smile:

Like I said today Mark I am leaving on Friday the fourth at 10:30am. Anyone going on Friday that wants to meet and caravan, I will be at the Alligator Alley toll booth around 10:30 am on Friday. PM or post here to confirm. Remember that Tampa is a three hour plus drive from Ft.lauderdale and everything starts at 11:00am on Saturday at Fermans.

 

"SAT caravan" - I plan on leaving early Saturday morning. Event starts at 11 am so figure leaving from a meeting point at the entrance to the "Alligator" around 8am.

"Please note which group you want to caravan with at the beginning of you messages"

I plan on heading up on Saturday morning aswell. I'd definately be interested in meeting up with other SoFla MINI's. Just give me a time and a place and I'm there.

Saturday 8:30 am at the entrance to Alligator Alley. There is a little pull off point to the right as your approaching the entrance. I'll get there a little early so we'll be easy to spot.

Damn I wish now that I was going Sturday AM. I already paid for the hotel and really want to get there the day before. Sounds like it will be a nice run up. Anyone going Friday wanting to tag along???

 

I get to go for free, so I can not go up Saturday with you all. I am goin g to work in our store in Orlando Thursday, and a vendor in Tampa on Friday. So the company will pay for my milage, which will cover my hotel cost for Friday and Saturday. I will tag along on Sunday on the way back!

Nope, I got a hotel for Saturday night across from the dealership. Several other people are planning on staying there as well. Red Roof Inn.

 

UPDATE for depature Saturday. In the interest of arriving on time for the party. We need to leave the Alligator Alley meeting point at 8 am!
If you wish to join us for the early morning trek acoss Florida please meet at the entrance to the Alligator (I-75) toll plaza by 8 am.
For those with walkie talkies, Motorola Talka abouts, or the like, I'll be motoring channel 7-11. (It's easy to remember)
