After posting this complaint directly to MINI USA
_________
There are four different issues with my paint on my recently delivered MINI. I will be bringing it in to Ferman MINI of Tampa so they can more accurately telll you of these issues, but I find it appauling that I will have to bring my NEW CAR in and be without it to fix a paint error that ought to have been seen before it left your factory, shipyard, or truck. I have purchased 3 MINIs in total and I demand quick satisfaction on this matter. Several of these errors are also present on another car delivered the same day as mine and I find this appauling. I think there is only one recourse that will, after buying 3 MINIs and supporting your advertising by aiding in running the local MINI club here, is to find that there willl be a beautifuly painted bonet ready to install on my MINI thus I will not have to go without for but a few hours. I find this is the fault of BMW/MINI USA and not in any way the fault of Ferman, who have worked very hard to keep me happy with every car I have brought to them.
_________
and calling them on the phone when they told me to just have my dealer (Ferman) deal with it, Doug "Opie" from Ferman made sure that they went the extra mile to fix my issues by replacing my bonnet with one on a new S that was on their lot. This is absolutely first rate in my book and a notable change to what I hear of things there in the sales department prior to him being manager.

Anyone who has had a bad taste from Ferman in years past really ought to give them a second chance, as Doug really has things in order there and Victor and Pat really have the service end up to an excellent standard.

Doug, Victor, Pat, BRAVO!

I had collision repair done at Ferman after
I was rear ended. Great paint work and repair.
They also have the primo MINI mechanic in
the USA. IMHO.

I hope this news is true! I found Ferman sales to be very smug and not interested in selling me a car when i bought my MCS almost a year ago. The receptionist was rude when i called and it was impossible to get any sales person to return my calls. I ended up taking my cash payment to Downtown Mini in Orlando, those people were all over themselves to sell me a car! The only way i'll ever go back to Ferman is for service, hopefully that department knows how to treat customers.

The new sales manager has made for a great improvement, I had that issue with my first 2 MINIs and likewise went to Orlando.

I am now happy with Ferman, though it is true that the Orlando sales staff is first rate. I just live over an hour away from them.

You may have the greatest sales staff at a dealer, but I will have to deal with the service department for the time I own the car and I only deal with the sales people before I have the car. ANYBODY can sell a MINI – they sell themselves, but I want to go with a dealer who can service my MINI and whose service department is top notch.

when I bought my Mini from Ferman we had lots of problems. My windshield was cracked and they would not replace it. The roof has a giant stain across it. This dealer was not trying to work hard to make us happy. I decided to do all my dealings with Braman Mini of Miami. The service over there is top-notch.
