Does anyone know if i HAVE to go to Ferman for service? Can ANY BMW dealer service my MCS? I would so love to not have to go anywhere back near Ferman Mini!
Thanks

I believe that you must go to a MINI dealer, but it doesn't have to be Ferman. You could schedule an appointment with Downtown MINI in Orlando, but how convenient is that?

except that the closest Mini dealer (Ferman) has no service department, you have to go to Ferman BMW for service, which is why i posted this question. Since I have to take my Mini to a BMW dealer for service, can i take it to ANY BMW dealer?

Ferman does do their own service... They probably use techs from the Beemer side, but they do their own service.

Hope that helps

I don't believe you can bring it to just any bmw dealer, they have to have the techs trained in MINI and have the MINI parts and tools available.

I had to have my tire replaced at Ferman, and I was very pleased with them. They do have their own service department.

I just wanted to clear things up, we do have our own MINI service techs here. The service bays happen to be located on the BMW side but the techs are specially trained for MINI's and do a great job. If you would like to stop by sometime I would be happy to introduce you to the technician as well as the MINI service advisor. You can however take your MINI to any MINI dealer to have it serviced, but not just any BMW dealer. It has to be a MINI dealer.
I hope that this has helped.

MULLY - NICE PICS!!!! See ya the second tuesday in August!!!I've tried to get more ppl. so hopefully we will have a nice crowd.
