Cruise.... Ahhh.. Deja Vu, man!! I loved going to the Bahamas, even if it was with my parents. It rocked. I'll definitely go again, just gotta get some more details, of course. And, um... that thing, y'know? I think they call it Cash, or Money, or Dead Presidents, or Bling-Bling, or Ka-Ching, or Dough, or Plata... Well, yeah. That.
October is kinda far, which is good for planning, but once everything gets settled, it'll seem like it's a weekend away, and that's it. hehe.

I called my friend today and told him about our plans. He said that the cheapest is to the Bahamas 2/3. We will need a count for staterooms. I told him interior rooms and the lower the level the cheaper the costs. Its a minumum of 8 rooms for group rates. I told him we would need 15 but it maybe more. To get that many rooms we need to get something going soon. If we need more then we need to do it real soon. The dates I picked are tenative and are 10/10 Friday to 10/13 Sunday. We can move them or change them if we want. Let me know what direction I should go with this as I am sure a deposit of some sort will be needed eventually.

I would love to go guys but the wife will be in her third trimester by then and will not be allowed to travel. Bummer! Maybe next year.

I'd be interested, but its extremely unlikely I'd be able to make it: Money is becoming a problem, and I can barely feed myself. Ask zerocharisma about the contents of my freezer

Also, as it will be in my final semester of school (ever, yay!) I doubt I'll be able to take any time out.

But keep us posted, if my finances get better and if I can get a couple days out of classes I'd definitely consider it!

Cruise + hurricane season= Me stay home!!!

 

Just did a little checking for you guys.

Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas sailing from Port Canaveral on Oct 16th has about 5 or 6 cabins available for $216 a person, the next level is $249. This cruise stops at Nassau and Roayl Caribbean's private island.

Carnival Fantasy sailing from Miami leaves on Oct 23th at $279 a person. About 6 or 7 cabins at this price. This cruise stops at Nassau and then a day at sea.

RC also has one that leaves on 10/31 that starts at $239.

Yeah! and departing October 24th should be okay since hurricane season ends Nov.1

 

Marsha and I would love to go, but we are in a money crunch right now.
we have a son going to college, and it cost more then I expected...

 

This is the 3rd organized cruise I've heard about for October. Out of all of them I think I'd prefer to go on this one with you guys. Unfortunately, there's just no way we can make plans for that far away right now. I'm lucky to be able to plan anything for tomorrow. I'll keep my eye out for details and if a miracle occurs and we're able to commit to it, I'll post again.

 

Sorry gang we will not be able to make it. The wife isn't to keen on cruise ships. And asking her to let me go by myself is just asking for that look. :evil: By the way. I will not be in touch for awhile. We are heading out this Friday for our 30 day trip out to Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. OH! NO! Frday the 13th! Oh well.
