Well if and only if you are extemely concerned about the warranty then I would go with the JCW. However personally I feel that the kit is a rip-off. Only 200hp for the price of a twincharge conversion. I mean come on that is almost ridiculous from my stand point. You can have the same results for less then $2000. I would go aftermarket but it's all personal preference about the warranty however.

Hey Chucktown!
Welcome to the MINIhood in Charleston! It is nice to see more people from Charleston involved. I didn't buy from them because I found what I wanted in stock at Century but they have been real nice and Brad Davis, the manager there is super to talk with!
You should join us at the ice palace on Feb 1st for the autocross class. If nothing else you get to see some other MINI's in Charleston!
Cheers

They have my vote
Hello!! I would only have positive votes for Mini of Charleston. My Tootles is a souvenior from an April '04 vacation. I never intended to purchase a vechicle during that vacation and was just going "window shopping" before heading home. No pressure at all to purchase the model on lot but just fell in love with the car. Price paid over sticker was less than $200 and have had 19000+ miles of great trouble free motoring . Distance of service not a problem for myself since Charleston is one of my favorite towns and good excuse to go down. The visit for the 10,000 service date was very enjoyable being made to feel like family and even had some options turned on at no charge. Highly recommend to anyone Mini of Charleston

I can only give you feed back on Flow. I put an order in the end of May 2003 and the car was built in July and I picked it up in August. I paid MSRP with no add ons. There is nothing special about Flow other then MSRP and no extra fees. If you are just concerned about price, they're good there, but if your the kind that needs to feel all warm and fuzzy about your purchase, pay the extra fees totaling as much as $800 . No thanks--I'm cheap.
I've always shopped cheap and I've never had a problem with service from any BMW dealer from FL to NC. Dealers don't treat you any less because you didn't buy the car from them and that includes getting loaners. Just my 2 cents.
Cheers,
Debi

Hendrick Mini of Charleston, SC
I ordered my '05 MCS from Hendrick Mini in Charleston because my son and his family live in Charleston. I've had a very good experience. Martha Crosby has really helped me through a marred passenger seat. Jennifer in service has been swell to work with to get a cracked windshield fixed. Also Chad Mathews in service has worked out how to install the rear fog light (my car is a July'04 build), so I'm very impressed.
