After just responding to perhaps one of the most mundane threads on here I realized that I am addicted to NAM......So lets define what an addict is....and perhaps start a NAM "club"

You are an NAM addict if:

1. you compulsively check the site at least once per hour that you are sitting in front of a computer

2. You have ever responded to a thread with "do a search"

add your own

oh .....I am NAMAC #1 (North American Motoring Adicts Club)

 

3: you do a search for someone else and post the results just because there aren't any other new messages at the moment.

NAMAC #2

 

4-You've authored a sticky

5-You always have a NAM window open in the background of your desktop.

6-You respond to posts that are titled :"you might be a NAM addict if..."

 

Got another one:

7-You respond to posts within 10 minutes of the original!

 

8. You respond to your own post.

 

9- if your default IE is set to NAM's home page.

 

Like the man said, you respond to your own post.

 

...you start reading Short Bus threads instead of watching "Day's of our Lives"

 

10. When the site is blocked @ work you wonder what you will do now..

11. When you hit 6th gear you wonder why it happened so quick

 

12. You won't buy a digital camera without first finding out what DiD thinks of it.

 

13. You type bump in threads just so your post count goes up

 

14. you respond to posts talking about people responding to their own posts within 5 minutes of it being posted...

I am a NAM Addict!

What else is there to do when you are waiting for your MINI to be built?

I tried:

• Building a Radio Conrol MINI
• Wearing a MINI baseball cap
• Collecting window stickers for the MINI
• Collecting MINI pictures
• MINI **** (see my Galery)

Nothing gives the fix like NAM. Though I expect that driving my MINI will be better than chatting on NAM.

 

18. Someone makes you your own thread, to keep you from hogging other threads.

 

19. You talk about NAM in person like it's a cafe.

 

20. You offer to throw a NAM xmas party.

I had to go ALL WEEKEND without NAM.

But i was at the Dragon with fellow NAMers

I check this site all night, until i go to bed, as soon as i wake up, once i get to work, and throughout the day. ob-sess-ed.

 

I thought that was normal behavior, Perhaps I should see a therapist?

 

Tell everyone about NAM

 

I can quit anytime I want to.

 

I was with NAMers all weekend while at the dragon to come home at 1-2am and hit the NAM forums and give info about what happened that day then back to the dragon with the NAMers in real life. Try repeating that for 3 days...

also you dont realize where 3rd, and 4th gears went until you hit 5th gear
