The second line of the post "Every time somebody posts about something illegal I'd like to NO THANK..." is a great point.

Perhaps the addition of an "Inappropriate Comment" could be added. Posts marked Inappropriate could be directed to a moderator for review. An alternative to overburdening the moderators could be to pull a post with 3 (or some other number) Inappropriate votes off the forum and a person with 3 Inappropriate posts could be marked for review for suspension.
On the above, I can say that I have not banned anyone since becoming a Moderator and not aware of any others having to do so. For the most part this is a pretty mellow place. There are comments in other threads that people visit NAM because members are not ranting and beating on another member. Like to think we visit here to relax.

Will a like/dislike ability make NAM more like FB and is this something the majority of the members want????????

Gotta say it's awesome to of found a mod that's as involved as you. Makes this place feel even more welcoming.
I checked out some of your recent posts and there were some good responses in there. NAM gets allot of questions from newbies looking for help with a problem. No, there are not people sitting around the keyboard all day answering these questions within five minutes, but there are a good core of members that will help out a fellow MINI owner when they log-in.

Just like Qik420 did yesterday.

I must have missed the illegal stuff being posted but I don't mind the idea of positive and negative ratings.

Post #3, is one of those cases that needs a thumbs down. Just rude IMO.

I think a like/thanks button is all that is needed.
If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

i agree. Those that are rude or inappropriate can get the.message by being ignored. Why respond to someone who is obviously being uncooperative or not contributing anything of value. Just ignore them.
