Many thanks to those who posted instructions and cautions on installing the black mesh grilles on standard MINI S bumper covers. As you all know, these are intented for the aero package covers but can be modified to fit the standard S cover, if you have the patence and presentence to install them yourself. Well......
thanks to "zogbogbean", and another poster, whom I cannot recall, I wish to THANK YOU for your advise and excellent instructions on installation. I accomplished this today. The MINI looks fantistic. Unfortunately, I do not know how to post pics on this board, but, tomorrow, after she has a bath, I will have pics on roadshow under sam j.

so did you manage to get the black mesh lower section into the stock S bumper?

Could you post details? I read all the warnings, etc, but I didn't hear of anyone actually opting to mod the stock bumper.

If you have the pics on your computer then you should have no problems posting them to the Gallery.
Go to "Member MINIs" in the Features menu to the left. Once opened you should see a "add Pictures" link in the top right corner. Click this. When open click one of the "browse" buttons and find the pic file on your computer. To add aditional pics click the next browse button and add another..... Once you have added all of the pics you wish to use..... click "upload"

Look forward to seeing those pics!!

I would love to post the pics in the Gallery, however, when I go to Members MINI's and click on the "add photos", I am getting a error message on that page. Cannot upload :???:

 

Yes. I did get the bottom grille into the standard S grille. Took some doing with my handy dremel and some plastic weld, but it fits great. Please see post below about pics problems..however, if you want to see pics, (probally not suppose to do this, but) go to roadfly and look under "Work in progress - complete"
BTW. Also put on the rogue stripe kit while I had the MINI apart.... :smile:
