Updated Site Guidelines
Please take some time to look over the Updated Site Guidelines
Some of the guidelines were updated with an eye towards the future of the site after the migration to vbulletin. As such, a couple items are a preview of things to come.
1) Signature Character Limit: Currently NAM has a limit of 255 characters (spaces count) in the signature block. That will be upped to 300 characters with the site upgrade. With the shorter URL protocol of the new software and the additional characters, you should be able to have additional links in your signature.
2) Signature Image Size: There will be a limit on signature image size with the update. For now, we encourage you to review the section and if your signature does not comply with the size restrictions, you have some time to modify your signature image.
As far as enforcement of the guidelines, the NAM moderation philosophy is unchanged: keep a light touch and only step in when needed.
The core moderation team was established several months ago to ensure the site runs smoothly and the guidelines are enforced in a fair and consistent manner. The members of the core moderation team are: mferguson, DiD, MINIclo, Ryephile, d-mini-ero, and minihune. If you have any issues on the site, feel free to contact one of us (we all have PM links in our signatures).
