Switch neutral --> 1st gear :-)

Good morning

I'm registered at NAM since over one year and really appreciate to read such interesting discussions around the mini and also to find good tips for my hobby.

But in the meanwhile and after i've tried to say "Hello" ... it would be realy great if an admin can switch me to a 1st gear member.

Thanks a lot!

Demi

Hi Demi,

1st gear is something you do yourself through posting, your privliges don't change just the gear displayed. You can read more about it here in our FAQ's or check out the beginning of and feel free to join into the how many posts thread.

Hi Motor on,

Thanks for the explanation between Neutral and 1st gear.

So this is not the problem that I'm not able to post something?

Because when I try to post a reply I just get this:

Demi, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
So there will be another problem with my account? I've never received an activation mail or something like that.

I'm looking forward for an easy solution.

So far it seems that only two of your posts have been caught by a filter that is mentioned here in a 1st gear sticky. Both of those posts contained significant amounts of vB code and in the case of starting this thread a link, so they require moderator approval before displaying to help prevent spam; using this system we've prevented more than dozen spammers from making their posts public. If it's an issue beyond this thread please give me a link and I'll be able to answer more specifically in relation to those questions. The other reason may be if you are attempting to post to a thread that has been closed.

Guess it's my photos that caused the issues. Good to know. I couldn't find a requirement(s). Anyhow, search works great!
