I'd like to make a request that anyone who has a desire for moderator support pm a moderator. It seems simple enough. Instead of posting a comment in a thread, or starting a new one in MINI Talk, just PM a moderator.

NOTE about Moderators on MCO: we can not read every post in every forum. We volunteer here and hang out because we like it. We hang out on MCO a lot, but we can't see everything. If you see something questionable, contact one of us. We try to be even handed and to, in general, allow some lee-way.

Each Forum has a list of MCO members that have moderator privledges. The names of those people are posted at the top of each forum.

Anyone on the site should feel free to PM any of us. If we don't have Moderator Privledges for the particular forum at hand, and we see a need for moderation, we can contact someone that does have those abilities.

If you have see problems with any of the following forums I have moderator priveledges in, please feel free to contact me. I would be more than happy to take a look at anything posting issue which may be of concern to you.

- MINI Talk
- Beneath the Bonnet (the forum for OEM/Warranty Issues - not Engine Performance upgrades)
- Performance Mods
- Interior and Exterior
- Marketplace
- Off Topic
- Rocky Mountain

I have a Private Message Link in my signature. Most moderators have a similar PM link. Please don't rely on us just stumbling across your request for a moderator to help by posting on the 6th page of a thread 3/4 of the way down a thread in MINI Talk. PM one of us and help us to make MCO a clean and enjoyable place to hang out.

Dave

If you're going to move my thread, just be sure to move others as well. Know what I mean? Dave, look at the thread (this one) you moved of mine, yet you ignored all the other ones around it. Why were you singling mine out of all the others? It'd be nice to have a little consistency, right?

Thanks for taking the time to put that list together. I'll start working my way through it. I'm not trying to single anyone out. Today alone I'm already in the neighborhood of about 10-12 thread moves.

Side note: from what I understand the new forum software will allow some additional ways to help moderators out. Until the new forum software comes online, I wouldn't anticipate any changes to the moderation on the site.

Therefore, I will reiterate that if anyone sees something that needs to be moved, or edited, or locked, or deleted, please contact one of the moderators for that forum.

Dave

ps- thanks again Dominic
