Why not just fix the transmission? Car looks to be in very good shape otherwise.

Because repairs will cost more than the value of the mini.

Because this "vendor" is more interested in chopping it up for dollars rather than preservation of a car with only 82k on the clock that someone else would take on and fix. Check history of vendor -- all "COMPLETE Partouts" of low-mileage cars.

are you planning on tearing into the engine at all? I cracked my radiator support and left front fender liner in an accident and would like to buy it off you if you have it available.
