Selling S. DSC Module Needed otherwise works fine
Year: 2005
Make: MINI
Model: Hardtop
Price: $2800
Mileage: 195000
Color: Electric Blue
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): NorthEast
White top, hood stripes, white mirrors, electric blue, good shape. Small scrape on the drivers door but otherwise clean. A couple of small scratches etc but it's a good car...I think. I'm sad but my loss...your gain...blah.
It'll come with all the paperwork on repairs and such since I bought it. Come get it, with cash and drive it home. It's got a full tank of gas even so that's something else.
2800 or best offer. I do like motorcycles, so if the offer is good...

That's a shame, my friends 03 had the same issues. Electrical went haywire, car was staring itself randomly without a key in it too. Water in the ecu he believed to be the culprit.

One suggestion....(for the sell OR the buyer)....
It sounds like a great deal for somebody...
But I wonder if $500-1000 in used parts can't fix it....dealers are crazy $$$$ for some stuff....and bringing a 200,000 mile car to a dealer is kinda like asking to be shocked at the $$$$ of the estimate....
Might make a GREAT track car as is....no dsc, or abs!!!

Already I've
Put several thousand dollars into it. Although I'm sure it could be fixed, I have no garage or tools and there don't seem to be many "gangster" mechanics here in NYC who are willing to do the work and...and this is a big and...it requires a "flash" or re-setting of the cars software or some such which I doubt a gangster mechanic will have the tools for. There are people on this site that seem to have all the tools, inclination, and experience to fix it or the room to slowly part it out,., all of which I have none of. Aaaaand there's no guarantee something else wont then fail costing me more money. This car is a luxury for me as I ride bikes everywhere etc...so it seems like a lot of work for a luxury. As much as I love it, I think it's my best move. If I could keep it as a track car, I would. If I had the space, I'd part it out over the next several year/s and regain as much of my losses as I could but alas, I can't.

Actually
I bought it from a dude who profits from craigslist. Carfaxed it to find it had been owned by a single owner, a 60+ yr old woman who drove it mostly highway miles. Jackpot!!!...or so I thought. Now I'm in this situation.

Does car still run and drive, even with the dsc not working, i had a 2002 mini s in electric blue i just sold and never ran into that probelm so not to sure what it takes to fix or if i have to fix, do you have rims for car or they only on the tires it has on car.

The car still runs and drives great actually. It's killing me to sell it. I wish I wish I wish I didn't have to. I have the original 17" rims for the car with new Bridgestones on them but they're in VA and I'm in NYC. So...a trip or a VA buyer would be in order for both at once. Yes, the car drives just fine.
