Wheel Pro's only !

215/45/17 or 205/45/17 17x8 +35

Ok, 205/45/17 will poke out some and be a little short (stretched look)

Then, 215/45/17 will poke but may rub in the rear.. Will they rub in the front at all ?

Stock height on a 2005 Cooper S

Thanks

"d6-mcs" had 17x8 and claimed everything was fine (on a lowered car), although I think he may have been using 205/40/17 in the front. Do a search on his handle and you'll find a lot. I'm going to run 17x7.5 ET35 w/215/45/17 in the spring and have been told from a few folks that it's be fine. I also am running a stock suspension.

on a 35mm offset, I would use 215/40/17, in order to minimize possible problems.

Your pushing it to put a 205 on an 8" rim.
I would say that you 'could' rub with a 205 and 'will' rub with a 215 with only a 35 offset. You car is stock height so you might be lucky.

What rim is this? Sounds like you more into trhe looks rather then function? If so then it's all up to you.

I got to see the 17x8 and the wheel above is at least a 9" or 9.5" wide.. The 17x8 did not have as deep of a lip as the one pictured above..

A cool option if someone wants to get wide wheels.. Also, found out the wheels have the chrome lip pressed onto the wheel. Looks like very good quailty paint too.. So, they are simulated 2 pc wheels.. Pretty heavy more for show than go... But proably not as heavy as S-lites

We should see our vendors out there having them soon...
