Once, there was a cow named Lardina. Lardina didn't know how big she was, so everytime she tried to go anywhere, she'd sit too close to other cows. She was eating into everyone elses patches of grass when they went for walks, too.
One day, a cow named Marge had enough of Lardina eating her grass, and taking up so much space... so Marge went over and milked Lardina for all she was worth.

<sound of loud laughter, dreadfully "out of place" here at work>
!!
Lardina! Oh Geeeez!
. A cautionary tale about a cow that got too big for her britches. Someone get Baxter Black, the large animal veterinarian/cowboy poet, to give poor Lardina an "udder reduction" job?
This THREAD is what is being "milked for all it is worth"; don't make me tell the story of the Hare Who Lost His Spectacles, oh noo!

Sorry about the minor rant...

But even with that I do not think it is wise to park in more then a single space. It really doesnt protect your car from dings or worse, and just draws negative attention. It could even buy you a ticket under some circumstances.
I think i'll head to THAT address and key it myself!
...mustn't be a competent parker. This photo was likely the first attempt at driving into the spot!
I park in a lot filled with Hummers, BMW-7's, Caddy's who end up pulling this loser move.

glad you had a chance to post those pics
It's interesting, all those spaces around you, and yet the Cooper Magnetism was in effect. I'm not surprised - Supertramp had it nailed in 1979, it's just typical "Breakfast In America". As unbelievable as those pics are, your MINI "street cred" is in good standing. What you need is the MINI "Cloak of Invisibility"...
I guess those guys are still students of the parking arts,

Because I'm the crew chief at work and run the stage, I have my own parking area, away from the main lot, close to the door, no signs needed.
Everyone that works at the theatre knows, ONLY MINIS can park there, and if the BRG/W does not get the spot, well the day will not go well
I really get it because I'm the first one there

.
And the BRG thing does not play into it either. I have the only MINI

On my dinner break today I had to go to a shopping mall, I parked in the back 40, as I always do. When I came out a mini van was parked 2 stalls away, and the folks getting out, a van load, were looking real close at Poco.
I could not resist, hit the remote, the locks opened, they backed off a bit.
When the windows started to go down, well the looks on their faces was priceless
We all had a good laugh. I then showed them all around Poco

This is getting rediculous.
We moved to a new building, where the parking is SO much better.
The people that dont care about their cars park in the rows closest to the building. Then the people taht dont car too much, but dont want to hog the front spaces park in the middle area. The new cars park on the back rows. I'm a back rower, of course.
For a while, it was just me and the 350z. I parked 2-3 spaces away from her at all times, while she always parks one space away from the end. Then a coworker got a new civic. I park 2 spaces away, putting the civic on the end for a while, then we switch up. Once we switched up, a Buick parked beside me. I moved, Buick moved beside me. Finally I move in that corner space, and the buick moves to the corner space near it. Wtf? then buick starts parking farther away, so i'm back to my spot on the other side of the civic. Then a girl's 04 mustang that is all banged up parks near me. I move next to civic.
Then, an Avalon took the spot beside where the civic parks, so i ake corner, then the Z, then the civic all hurd up in the corner. TODAY i come in and the Z is out, civic isn't in yet and the avalon is 3-4 spaces from the end, and then a ford wagon is two spaces from that! So i moved to another back row... where there's a line of trees, and construction people frequent. WHY can't they all just leave us alone? 100 other spots and they gotta bug us.

When in the city I just park out in the back 40 of parking lots

But I do leave Nugget in gear lest he roll down the hill. Don't use the parking brake out of habit; some parts of the year are so cold the pads stick to the rotors!
