R50/53 Who else only parks like this?
I had some AZ-Hole parking tickets a while back that I got at a joke store in Monterey. They used every swear word in the book, as well as amplified the fact that I needed a can opener to get in and out of my car because you parked so close, etc...

I've also noticed that different areas of the country have different ideas of how big a parking spot should be. I recall reading a story couple of months ago, where retailers were re-evaluating their aproach to smaller parking spaces due to overabundance of the mighty SUV. Not going to hear me complaint. Let them make the parking spaces bigger. For a while my local Trader Joe's parking lot was marked so narrow that I had a problem getting the Mini between the lines.

I'd love to get vinyl cut for both of the rear-side windows on the mini to say "go find another parking spot" which doesn't sound so mean with the fact that i DO go out of my way to park far, far away. Literally in the middle of no where (even at home, ha) and the only place some car wants to park is the spot beside me... rather than the 30 spots surrounding me that are empty.
But i can only imagine how many people would take offense after reading this

Parking like that is asking for trouble.
Id NEVER harm another car, but if you take two spots, id be inclined to fit in the spot with you with my passenger door a couple inches from your driver door. Never touch the car, but make it so you have no choice but to get in through your passenger door. No harm would be done, but youd realize in a hurry why not to take two spots.

keyed - that's an understatement....total repaint would be needed
all 4 tires flat
antenna snapped
dents in the door from kicking
couple pieces of glass smashed.
I think someone was a bit offended ...... they'd opened a serious can of whoop _ _ _ on that vehicle. Now, this was Miami and well - 'the rules are different here' as their ads used to say.
I love end spaces, hug the inside when I can and often park farther out to improve chance no one will be beside
but I never NEVER intentionally stradle a line or park on a bias - remembering that poor poor car and how he must have felt.
oh yea - the alarm was going off too......

I do agree that taking two spots is not right, they make paint everyday.
1. NO NO NO then poco would slip and hurt itself
2. When MINI farts, it echos. But the neighbors are so far away, they can't hear.
Dogs can hear it. And bark.
3. Even my PARENTS park on the other side of the house
I can take up as much space as i want. Double park, park diaganolly... heck, i could park upside down and no one would bother me. although, in the snow... i'll start out parked in that spot, then end up halfway down the driveway. That driveway is much more sloped than it looks. It's like my own invisible towing service.

2 Space parkers
I have to admit I "was" a two space parker. But all this HATE talk has made me see my misguided ways. Life's too short to hate. So I promise only to take the fartherest out parking spaces and to only take two when the parking lot is empty. Futher more I promise to love my MINI and protect him as best I can.

That's a big parking lot.
