Spectacular. Your car in my rear view mirror would be something to see. How did tint the headlight lenses? Also, are those 16 inch wheels? What offset are they? When I bought my first 2008 MINI, this is look that inspired me. You don't see many like this anymore. Great job!

Here it the pic I took at my first Mini event on Thursday. Nice little ice cream run with Central Iowa Mini Club. I haven't decided if I want to put stripes on the other side as well. I kinda like just the little pop of pink. I'm going to redo my side skuddles in pink too I think...

The asymmetric stripe is a hit here. I like it.

Lookin' good! ...maybe pink mirror caps instead of the scuttles? The scuttles might take away from the stripes since they're so close.

Swapped out the passenger side axle along with the inner ball joint. Not too bad of an exercise.

+1 on keeping the stripes one sided.

Actually that's rare to see the chrome font marque plate, it was found mostly on the BMW side back in the early 2000's. Not to many MINI owners know they exists.

Installed WMW 17% pulley, new tensioner, and new idler pulley. Car pulls a lot harder. Next up, larger intercooler.

Just got in my new ATI Super Damper crank pulley, and Clutch Masters lightened flywheel and sent it to the machine shop so they can get the block all balanced once they're done over-boring it!!! Getting so close to putting it all back together!!

In the past 2 days I replaced the blown front speaker, painted my wheels black, painted my mirrors vintage gold, rotated the tires, topped off all fluids, and did my first oil change on my own. Saved over $300 doing all this myself. Going to get him detailed this week and be good to go for another 7500 miles.

Installed the stubby antenna after ordering my roof rack cross bars. My kind of mod, took me 9 seconds. .

Looks way better, for the price I think everyone should do it, then again, it should just come this way.

Looks good. Which chassis do you have and where did you pick it up? Part number available?

We have the 2016 Countryman All4 S with JCW appearance package. Bought this as the official mini part, Part #65-20-2-296-772 but that's in Canada so don't know if that's universal. They told me at the dealership I needed it if I intended to use the roof rack, and for $36 I figured why not especially since it looks better.

Next big decision is whether I get the stripes on the roof top box or not. It's an extra $80 but I kinda like it

Thanks! Lets hope some of those bad days are behind us. But since I fixed a few things I have drove over 2k miles with no issues in the cooling system so I think hes alright!

I got my replacement speakers from ECS and it was a lot easier than I thought. Was a fun little project.

As everyone always states "pics or it didn't happen" so here are a few pics of Barnaby after this spa-maintenance weekend.

I decided to go with the black rims and the vintage gold mirrors for a little subtle accent and I am very pleased with the result. Let me all know what you think. Cheers all!

thanks for that, you can't have gold mirrors and not have photos. First I've seen in gold looks good, gold wheels look good with chili red too.
