All Aboard the RIGOLETTO - leaving Southampton 6/4/08 for Port Hueneme!

Since it looks like a bunch of us are on the ship, and we're spread over a few different Production Week Groups, I thought I'd start a Rigoletto thread. Here are a couple of photos to get us started:

I was thinking about shuffleboard, but then said, hey, let's put cones down the middle and make a slalom course instead. My MINI agreed.

Mini overboard . I guess the cars are all too young for shuffleboard. The light colored cars better put on the sunscreen.

Just ignore the mini with the smashed top. Pretend it is not there. Happy thoughts.

just found out that my clubman is on the ship. I REALLY hope they installed the new hyperdrive water thrusters to speed the ship up to mach 10, and the cars will be here by tomorrow ...

Based on the booking number, there are 487 Minis on board. Probably a lot of unloved (dealer allocated) Minis. I guess the other people that ordered aren't near as OCD as we are.

we are both in the same boat (as it were ) we are both waiting for a delivery to Scottsdale. From what I gather it will take 2 weeks on the sea to get over here to the pacific side. Then about a week to unload and get shipped over to scottsdale. I am thinking we should have it in about amonth.

Mine is officially loaded on the vessel. According to the booking #(GBSOU638668), not all of the cars are. I could just see them forgetting mine. That would be awful.

According to the WW website, as of 8:55pm there were 501 vehicles loaded out of 564 at the dock. Wellington got on board at 7:24pm local time. When did others' get loaded??

I also just noticed that departure from Southampton now shows on the WW site as June 5 (tomorrow).

This may be a really silly question, but how do you pronounce Hueneme?

I've been using "kal-i-for-nya"
