I'm starting to have autox withdrawal symptoms
How are the rest of you coping?
Last Autox was Oct 30th - the next one is in March.
I know some of you get to race year round, but most of us live where winter happens and go a full season (3-5 months) without getting to drive at the limit.
GT4 release was delayed.
Must go to the indoor go kart track

You'll have to run against your co-driver in GT4 since it will be online, and his son is getting good too!
Sounds like it's time for a Bob Earl Racing seat to make the experience more realistic!

Our season should start up here in January if we have an area to race at. We lost out track in October after Ivan came through here. It’s now being used to store the scrap and all the debris they removed from the 3 local cities that were mowed down.
A friend who also races told me they may have found a new site, but I’ve not heard back yet.

You should have attended the Capital Driving Club autocross a few weeks ago (December 4th) at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, MD.

Which Indoor Track. I've been asked many times to head up to Northstar and run up there. By Jimmy Lee and his group for something different. They come down to G-Force Karts here in Richmond pretty much every sunday around 2pm. They Love this track saying its a bit more Demanding and better for Autox practice. The Northstar( i think its called that) track they say has a crossover bridge thats sort of a blind jump. If you like come on down to Richmond ill be more than happy to run over... er run with ya.
until we meet on the road
Have fun, Be safe and Keep MOTOV8N

We are lucky to have autocross every month year round. Sometimes we can get some rain in the winter but the temperature is still 70-75 degrees.
The site we use is in the dry area of the island so it can be raining everywhere except on the track.

Incidentally, for WDCR comrades, our good Philly friends have a winter series that is about to start up. All events at Ripken. I can't make the January dates, but February is a possibility. See:

and go to myautoevents.com. Yes, I know, it could snow.

The x-box PG2 has a cone challenge mode which seems to be tougher for me than the real thing!!! I do like how you really need to set up your apexes and it's a lot of fun to experiment over and over. My thumbs hurt now.
