I started a new job three weeks ago that has me up at the Federal Center off 6th and Simms/Union. Now I'm seeing MINIs all over the place here. Did it just end up that the majority of Denver area owners ended up either living or working in the SW part of town? I'm living right next door to Thornton (Unincorporated Adams) and don't see many in my area.

There are at least 6 in Parker, my location...within blocks of each other. A couple of visitors seen also on a weekly basis around Main St..

Always see a couple of MINIs around Park Meadows when driving there. And, thanks to the LY for flashing their lights on Park Meadows Drive 2 weekends ago. I love it when we acknowledge another.....waved back, perhaps a tad late.

I live North of Denver in Broomfield and rarely see a MINI up this way, we have maybe three in town and that is all I consistently see. I see many more In the southern parts, Littleton, Highlands Ranch area.

I'm in Westminster...have not seen another Mini around here yet. Went down to Littleton one day about a month ago right after gatting the car...stopped at a light behind a Black/Black MC with aero and a Tan/black MC stock that was in the next lane. That was kinda cool...a mini "Mini" unorganized Get to Gether.

I live downtown, but work out at Denver West (on the way to Golden). It is funny cause while I was waiting for my MINI to arrive, I would see at least one almost every day on the way into work or on the way home. Now that I have my MINI, I haven't seen one other to wave to yet.

Realized a couple of days ago that I feel like the MINI is much larger when inside and driving. Others seen on the road are reality, we are very small and quick.

Miss a lot of opportunities also...appreciate the acknowledgement when there though. Watching the environment of cars around us is more important in traffic. And yes, not everyone is out for just a drive, more important issues at hand....you will certainly be forgiven if a wave is missed.

Another IB with a UJ.....love this car!

I will agree with the consensus that most of the MINI population is on the South side of town. I live in south south Denver and work in Thornton and hardly ever see any other MINIs near work and only slightly less rarely near home.

I know there are approximately 4 MINI's in the North Thornton area including my own and two others in Broomfield. Most people wave, others are surprised to see another MINI and pretend they didn’t see me. What’s up with that?

At the IBM Boulder site there are 6 other MINI’s in the Southwest & West parking lots for a total of 7 MINI in the two lots (there are 7 to 8 lots at IBM, I haven’t explored the others). I’ve left messages on the other cars letting know about this site, MINI5280 and MOTR. Only 2 have shown any kind of interest in getting to know other MINI owners.

Of the 10 sited MINI’s I also know that the owner of this site lives in the North, I haven’t seen him driving around. As I am also aware of a few other members of MINI5280 and MOTR live up here in the North and I have seen a few other MINI’s up here but not on a consistent basis.

So are there more MINI’s in the South than North? Maybe slightly, but than again it also depends when people take their cars out on the road and happen to see one and another.

We are the only MINI we've seen in Berthoud.
Wife & I both work in Gunbarrel & we see at least two
every day. A 'lectric blue & a grey & once in a while a
red.
What's the official wave/flash (headlights that is~) ??

Ah working in Gunbarrel, you are close to the IBM plant site. The Red one is most likely from there as is the Dark Silver, that might be myself or another person from IBM that parks in the same parking lot that I do. The Red works an early morning shift thus the reason you see it every once and while, I and the other Dark Silver, oh and there is a Pure Silver in the lot as well. We all work different shifts and we don't always go to the plant, so you may have seen all of us at different times.

I think most people are so wrapped up in driving their cool car that they don't always notice someone waving. Most MINI owners will wave back or wave first, but I know I have missed waves or waved back too late! I am southeast but drive to Golden daily. I seldom see other MINI's.

At least three MINI owners work out at the Lockheed Martin Waterton Canyon location. I take my DS/W S to work occasionally, and I often see a IB/W Cooper coming in to work as well. And just yesterday I caught an EB S motoring out of the plant.

Don't know who the other two are yet. I live in Highlands Ranch, pretty near RandyBMC's location. I see him occasionally, but never for long, 'cause his car doesn't seem to obey the laws of physics quiet like the rest of ours seem to.

I've got a red mini, and I work in Gunbarrel - hmmmm..... I see a silver one over at the 1st bank quite a bit as well. I actually live in downtown Denver - I'm starting to see more in the area - but not a ton : )

That was kinda cool...a mini "Mini" unorganized Get to Gether.

These are the times when we should all have 2-way radios and a 21-7 sticker in our windows to let the other MINI drivers know that "We got our ears on."

I live in Longmont and work in Boulder. You might see my CR/W on the Diagonal from time to time. There is also a guy with a BRG S who works at Case Logic.

I live in Gunbarrel and work at 55th/Pearl in Boulder. You might see my BRG Cooper S with white bonnet stripes around Boulder. I always try to wave or give a thumbs up...but my 2 year old is better at pointing out other MINIs than I am! I think one reason you don't see too many in Boulder is that, for people who live and work in Boulder, we don't actually do that much driving -- mileage that is.

Hopefully I'll be getting my BRG/BRG MCS in about 3 weeks. It's currently sightseeing somewhere in the Pacific onboard the Otello. Docks in Port Hueneme on 11/4. Can't wait. I live downtown Denver and work at StorageTek in Louisville.

I've noticed one brg/w mc that parks off of E. Colfax by Popeyes and two others at Stonegate apts at Interlocken in Broomfield.

Me again. The red one (with white top & GPS fin) seems to work @ BI the
ankle bracelet people in Gunbarrel.
My wife's black/black works @ Lockheed Martin off of 63rd & Spine.
She parks in back, I work for L.M. too.
Please no more IBM talk as I'm still a little bitter (!).
I don't miss them & I'm sure they don't miss me.........

I live in Thornton and have a Electric Blue w/White S. I am starting to see more minis -- I followed a Black w/white Cooper to my neighborhood two nights ago. I know there is a Silver/Black S nearby too. I've also seen and all red Cooper, and a Yellow w/ lots of black custom markings (only one time -- looked like a bumble bee!). I work in Interlocken -- there is a Red w/White Cooper in the lot with mine and another Electric Blue S at the neighboring building. There is a BRG Cooper on the Rocky Flats Site. I see lots of them in Interlocken and at Flatirons Crossing! My bud Jeff has a Charcoal w/Black S in Boulder. The mini population is flourishing!
