Yeah, I'll forgive the lack of pictures if it mean I get to see the car sooner out on the track. :D If there's a Lime Rock date on the calendar, that might be enough to convince me to make the trip down there...

Hey all,
First, thanks to those who sent help on the clutch bleading. I think I now have this under controle, but I will know later today.

Where I am with the car. Well, it comes to my shop today to start all the body work. Should not take all that long. I will have the car at LRP on Sept. 4th with SCDA for testing. Might even get to NHIS sooner, but we'll see.

Thanks for the support.

No, not Zmax. When it's done it will be 90% my own design and build. I'm doing all the body fab myself, ... and actually I'm still IN the design stage. I just do as I go kinda thing.

Hey, if Greg's using those ducts in the squared off bumper to get air to the brakes (and I'm sure he is)... make the damn things as big as you can.

They are already gone.

Using the front bumper and skirts from this kit. It was the best place to start towards working with my own needs. Understand that my cooper is hardly that anymore. 50% of that bumper cover has already been altered.

I'm not out for bling look here. I think when you see the completed car you all will have a much better understanding of just what it's all about. It's function over form here.
The reason I started with that bumper and skirts is that they are available, and available cheep. This is a race car and I will loose body panels.

Doors are carbon and Kevlar layers and are pinned in the back.

Anyway, it's one reason that I didn't want to post anything till it was done. Be patient and I assure you that you will be awwwed by this car (in a function over style way).

The ones on that grey car are not what I am using. I'm making my own. I already made a set a while back but have changed the desig. The ones in my pic are those early ones I made. I'm running 9" wheels

You wanna maybe make an extra set? I'm running 8.5" wheels and need a slightly wider arch. You know you wanna

I'm new to this forum and have read the FAQ. Why don't I see any of these pics everyone is commenting on? I'd really like to see how this car is coming along.

you've gotta start using imageshack!

unlimited uploads. stays forever, and is FREE. image size must be less than 1.5mb though.

www.imageshack.us

download the toolbar from the tools section and posting pics to imageshack is super easy! Then it gives you the links for either thumbnail or full size pics for posting in forums and other places.

but I'd like to keep some pressure on the site to allow us that post lots and lots of data for the members to get some way to have more gallary storage than someone with 10 posts. Also, if I move to imageshack or any of the other photo sites, then they pictures aren't in the gallery for those that are curious about what I've posted to see. Either that, or I'm just a bit lazy!
