Just a sugestion Greg - we had two headers crack that were stainless using header wrap. I think the ceramic coating may be a better way to go to accelerate those gasses!

Yea, Randy I remember talking with you about that color scheme a few years back. Since then it seams that many have adopted it. Still not so sure what the final color will be.

One that no one has gone with and I think would be trick is a lime green and chrome orange - yes I'm a child of the 70's. The race car back at Black Forest used that scheme, and it looked outstanding.

I have no "trademarks" on orange. Please feel free to use it. I would actually view it as a compliment....
If it was to be re-done, I would do a full "body-wrap". Cheaper than a paint job....

Greg, in your estimation, would it be possible to install such an oil adaptor plate on an engine that has not been removed? I would love to have the oil filter in a different (easier to reach) location and be something that I can pick at the local auto parts store. The option add a little more volume, and a larger filter is appealing also...

It's been so long since I've worked on a stock Mini that it's very hard to remember what used to be in the way.
If one can reach the three bolts that secure that whole housing then it's an easy job I would think.
Let's see if this thing really works though. I'm pretty sure it will, but ya know ... :impatient

. I'd be curious to know what you oil capacity has become. I would venture to guess that you will be around 6 quarts....
I seem to recall, I think it was jlm, who said that it was pain (or impossible) to remove the oil filter housing with the engine in place...

Got a larger photo? I'll be honest, I'm not totally certain what I'm looking at. The black part does seem to look farmiliar though...
From the previous photos, I see that you will be running with the H-Sport from sway bar, and that you are marking bolt heads, which I think is smart. And you are being liberal with the heat shielding of wires and components, which is great. Good stuff Greg.

Yea Tony, that's my old H-sport front bar. It's really an unknown right now about sway bars.I could go from a heavy bar like this to no front bar at all. I have three rear bars that we will test out.
Being that this car is now so different from a stock Mini, it's all just guess work right now.

An intake from the front shrowd? No, I don't think so... Let me keep thinking.... What are you doing for intercooling? Maybe some kind of velocity stack that mounts to the TB...

Yes, it's actually the original part from the factory unit. I just cut it off and adapted the aluminum to it. It will help keep away the heat transfer from the SC into the intake.
How did you seal the plastic to the aluminum?
I have some filters for you, I just need to find the time to get up there.
That's it! I had never seen an AGS up close, but you've got, as Randy said, the shortest SC runner! That is really neat Greg. Yes, the plastic should act as a nice insulator. With that sandwiched in-between, I don't think ceramic coating it will make that much of a difference...
I'd be curious to see what additional plumbing you have in-mind also, forward the TB... Kudos to you Greg!
