Hans Device

I kinda fell dumb, but I don't know what a Hans Device is. Can someone help me? Please explain what it is and what it does. Thank you.

No, that wouldn't matter. They are two separate straps. Maybe his head position is more forward of the HANS then normal.
I know some of these drivers still dislike 'having' to wear these things.

On another note, I love mine. It's a work of art also. Fun to just look at ..


Man I do a lot of typos...

You're right...i knew that usually they were two straps, but when i looked at it quickly, it looked as though there was just one single one.

According to the April Grass Roots issue, Schroth is building a belt to work with the Hanns device. FYI

Greg, where did you see the financing advertisment from Hanns in GR magazine? I cannot find it.

Schroth has new QuickFit track day and autocross belts designed to work with the Hans device. (page 131 - article title, Safety Dance)
