Hey everyone, starting this thread on Tony's request. Lets get a head count on the January Grand Am Event. Lets hope to get a great crowd, and support Nuzzo Motorsports, and the MINI's.

 

Well, I start my new job in Daytona after xmas, so I'll at least be in town for the race...

ok guys, I can help and get things together In tampa, and surrounding area.

 

I'm in Daytona, I just got my Mini a couple months ago, and I'm eager to meet anyone who might be in town for the races. It's been ages since I've been to the track... growing up here I spent a LOT of time there, but I haven't been much in the last 10-15 years. If there's any reason to get my butt out there this month, it's to help support a Mini on the track!

 

Sunshine MINIs is willing and eager to lend a hand at Daytona. Feel free to contact me or post something on our forums. I'm sure we could get a good-sized group to come out and help and/or watch.

Im on sunshine too (mcs05). I joined as of last week. I would be great to see a mini turn out. If you guess could orgainize something I am willing to help.

 

We've got a few SunshineMini members talking about going to the Grand Am race now, so let's see if we can get some fellow Mini Motorists from out of town to join us!

And the offer for help in any way still stands Tony... we've got at least 4 people ready & willing!

Bring 'em! Sunshine members or not, they will be by the time they leave!

When is this event happening?

Can I go and just watch MINIs racing?

 

Friday, January the 27th at 2:15pm. Tickets are $12 at the gate, includes grandstands and infield admission.

You can just go and watch3 Minis race against a bunch of other cars...

... or you can meet up with a bunch of other Mini-crazed supporters of the Nuzzo team and have a bit more fun!

 

I was at the track earlier today. If you want to see practice and qualifiing tickets are $10, and and additional $10 for Garage adission, Fri. as stated $12, additional 10 for garage.

Anybody going to the 24hrs prices range from 10-50, 10 for a sixhour sat. might pass, infield parking 15. All tickets available at the gate.

Hope to see a big turnout. Hope this helps with making plans.

 

Sunshine MINIs is planning to have lunch at noon at the Ale House near the track before heading over for the race at 2:15pm. We're discussing the event at sunshineminis.org. Hoping Nuzzo has a great showing at Daytona!
