Welcome MINI Race Fans

Nuzzo Motor Sports, Inc.
Glen Head, NY

Welcome MINI Race Fans

Nuzzo Motorsports has been called a Pioneer for furthering the MINI’s racing heritage by being the first to professionally race the new Cooper. We plan to continue to race in Grand Am Cup with two cars for the entire 2006 season.

But in order to keep the momentum going we need your help. We will be looking for volunteers at each event to help. More importantly, we are looking to have large fan turnouts at each race. We will need people in all locations to coordinate the MINI Owners Parking Corals and to help drum up enthusiasm and turnout to these events.

We plan to participate in activities surrounding each race weekend. You’ll be able to come out see the cars up close and personal, meet the drivers and crew, take pictures, get autographs and more. I’m working on a lot of things such as discount tickets, sponsor promotions and giveaways and hospitality.

I’m happy to discus with you how we can help promote your brand or products if you may be interested in helping to sponsor our team in some way.

I am very excited to be partnering with North American Motoring. Mark is a great guy and thanks to his vision, perseverance and hard work we all have this excellent community in which to communicate and share our excitement about the MINI Cooper.

Mark has set this area up for us to discuss all news about Nuzzo Motorsports MINI Cooper Racing team. We will provide regular updates about our activities. Schedules, locations, activities will be listed so that you may be involved with us as we race through the season.

We are always open to suggestions on how to keep this area informative and entertaining so you will feel you are living a part of history along with us.

Please feel free to start and participate in discussions in this area. Post pictures, share your racetrack related and other stories with us here. I look forward to meeting many of you at the track; we can be successful but only with your support.

See you at the races.

That's great news However, it would be nice if you guys could persuade Speed Channel and such to cover the other half of races beside the front 3 cars I've complained to them regularly. I rarely get a glimps of the Minis when the Grand Ams are televised

I had a great time meeting and actually helping out a bit with Tony and the crew at their first race at Barber Motorsports park 2 years ago. Even got my MINI on the speed channel in a segment comparing the stock MINI with the race prepared ones.

How about posting the Grand AM cup schedule here so that people will know when and where to find you?

I'd be happy to help organize the local MINI's to come and watch the races in July when you visit us again in Birmingham!

Being in Florida I will not be able to make the races as much as I would like to.

I wish the Nuzzo Team the greastest in the upcoming events.

All you out in the No Cal area get out and support this great team.

Best of luck Tony, Shane and all the rest.

I have to try and re-schedule a commitment on April 29-30 for Laguna Seca. If I can do it, I'll help out I will know by tomorrow.

I'm so glad that the MINI will be (remain) on the Grand Am stage for all to see! Thank you, and to Mark for the creativity to make this happen...

Yucca, that was so much fun hanging out with Tony, Shane and the Nuzzo Team at the Barber Motorsports Park Inaugural Races! It was one of the highlights of my 2003 Roadtrip, for sure!

Great to see you here, Tony!

This is great news, I have a reason to follow the Grand-Am Cup races again!

I'm just pissed that I'll miss you at Fontana. I hope you find some ponies for that race.

The Barber race is the only one close enough for me to attend. I'll be there if things go right. July is just to far for me to commit right now.

The wifey and I will be at Laguna Seca to check out the race and help out Saturday for sure, still have to work on nailing her down for Friday
though. .

I'll mention this to the local clubs in my area and see what happens.

I would like to help in some way when you come to Birmingham. I recall Yucca talking about going to the track back in 2003. If it wasn't for me picking up my MINI that day, I would have liked to have been there.

It looks like we may have a BAMA event in the planning by the responses in this thread, Yucca.

Hey Tony -

Is there any way to get a build sheet / list of mods on your cars? Your website has no technical info. I'm looking for tips and tricks for my club racer. I'm half way there with decent HP, suspension, camber, etc - now looking for the more elusive second-reducing bits!

Thanks in advance, and continued good luck!

Tony,
I enjoyed our conversation tonight at VIR, I plan on coming to watch the race tomorrow. I'll tell my dad you said hi when he returns from Summit Point.
