Track Day Questions
Track Day Questions
Hey guys,
Sorry for being such a noob but I just got a 2011 Cooper S Countryman and absolutely love it. I live in Las Vegas and was wondering if anyone knew how I could get a day on a track with an instructor. I would assume that it would be in souther ca. I just really want to see what she can do and getting the instruction would be really cool.
Thanks,
Hans

Look at events from either NASA or Hooked on Driving:

I'm a NASA member and I've driven with HoD -- HoD is awesome -- select Group A. NASA has events in S. CA, N. CA, Rockies, AZ ... you should be able to find something relatively near by. When you sign up, select HPDE 1 events (they provide instructors).

A lot of track day organizations will get out to Spring Mountain once or twice a year.
www.speedventures.com is one of my personal favorites, though you'll get more actual instruction with groups like NASA.
If you plan on venturing far to go to a track event, I'd like to recommend a Premier membership with AAA. 1 long tow will easily pay for a decade of membership.
