who said anything about "working" it out.........just pointing out the flaws in all of your postings

make sure if you are going to try and argue a point with me that you have your ducks in a row. This is like shooting fish in a barrel with a 10gauge shotgun. Not much sport in it.......

Have your Bc's got the stock springs or swift?
I am still in BC springs. My goal is to upgrade to swift soon to achieve a better
ride on the streets vs a better track performance.

Duh....maybe that it's not set up for track? Bring your stuff to the strip and bring the "Widow" to the strip then.....?

what do you mean by not having a track set up. My car is my daily driver which I commute in 100 miles a day and I take it to a road course. I am sure the black widow has coils, better brakes, and a sway bar at least. Those along with the rmw goodies got me into the 1:30's.

maybe you should get your information correct before you go off sounding like Webster

The Widow was out there at sow , in fact I heard it from one of the techs at South Bay. He was telling me about how they were talking how they were going to SOW and beat his 328i around the track. It was quite humbling

You can look the car up online, it has everything it needed to go fast around the track. Sooner or later you guys will realise it's "how" the power is put down rather than some dyno sheet number

Hmm....wasn't it you who was always hung up on dyno numbers? Now that everybody knows that your numbers were always skewed you don't seem to be hung up on them anymore........? And to the other guy, just because a car has coilovers and a bbk, that dosent mean it's set up for the track

then why was he bragging to the tech at Southbay then?

we show dyno numbers to show what is possible, then we go to the race track and win races/championships........that's what we do

We will continue to post them too. You do realise that Skunk2 (kraftwerks) Hondata and many other top of the heap tuning companies come to Church's to dyno their cars......right? There is a reason, the dynapack is the most consistent dyno out there. Why don't you just go down to Dynapack and get thrown on the dyno there. I will gladly pay for it. Go ask for Scott.

It's proven Jim...........those are the facts whether or not you want to believe them is entirely up to you. The sanctioning bodies have approved the track records along with the championship. It's a FACT
Ask yourself this question Jim.......if those numbers are so easy to hit.... why haven't they taken a M45 car over there then and beat it?
Why hasn't 1 of these R53 turbo street cars posted a time somewhere like SOW or buttonwillow? (don't bring up the race car which hasn't even ran this yr)
Educating you is a full time job

coils, better brakes, and a well tuned motor does make it for me. All I need is better tires.

Thats possible? But nobody has ever questioned a dynapaks consistency, we have tried to educate you in that a dynapak does not show true WHP, it shows hub hp. Something that you don't seem to grasp or admit.

then why have you bad mouthed it on every forum?

Please Jim, do yourself a big favor and drop by the dyno in Fresno and have Scott mount up your car. I'll gladly pay for you to see the truth about your car

I have bad mouthed a "dynapak"? When? I have scoffed at your "pulley only" cars putting out over 210 whp on a "dynapak", but that has nothing to do with the "dynapak". Hmm.......I know the truth about my car, I drive it every day, how would you know about my car? Are a physic now?

do you mean psychic? IF so, yes
my guess is you don't break 220Hub at the dynapack in Fresno

since you barely broke 200whp at mynes and Winer's car made 223whp yet made even less at the dyno jet......methinks you are running around with alot less than you think
I can see why you are so agitated.... I would be too spending that kind of money and having that amount of hp

you must be reading the wrong palm, I easily broke 200whp on the Mynes dyno And I would be really pissed if I had spent over $15k on a broke............................I'm out, gnite

I think he needs a bigger turbo
Ian,
I've been working on the GT2 mapping for you........ I need to get a flash tool that you can swap maps between track and street versions. I'll be tuning that other GT2 once he gets it back from the exhaust build.

As a point of clarification, please note that my car made about 220 whp on the DynoJet at EF1 Motorsports, however, the car definitely had a boost leak at that time. The leak has been fixed, but the car has not been run on the DynoJet again. BTW, I do believe that I had some 225 runs on the MD, but Hubie has that data. Is there really a difference between 223 and 225? I don't think so. These values probably reflect the inherent coefficient of variation in dyno measurements on different days, with input from all the factors that can influence intra and inter day results.

I have no axe to grind, so I encourage all participants in this and related threads to use proper civil discourse, and avoid the pernicious invective that has become so pervasive. Thanks....
