what are the sound restrictions for roebling road? the new setup sounds very quiet.

 

Yes, that particular tip is designed specifically for Roebling and it will pass with flying colors. Sound limit there is 103 db..got Black-flagged there 3 years ago for being over .1db.
Got another interchangeable tip that will surely be louder, have not tested it yet however.

 

Awesome! I want to go thrash my car on some twisties right now. Too bad it's zero degrees out, and there's 5 inches of snow on the roads...

Yes, the track is a bit narrow but it does have a good flow.
It shares the main straight with the drag-strip which is not ideal, the track owner either tried to save money or ran out of real estate.
It is however the only road course in Louisiana.
Of course, I wish it looked like Barber but...

Yeah Greg, it almost has that schrill staight-cut gear sound those euro cars have.
Will be testing the unrestricted tip soon, perhaps at MSR-Houston on the 31st. Curious how it will sound and if it affects performance any.
How long before you thaw out up there?

Naa, the benz in a dream. I have a very clean 190E Costworth 16V that I would very much like to turn into the DTM shown in my sig. Can't get that body anywhere so I may just make it.
Anyway, glad your warm down there. -10 and 6" of snow this morning. But we should be in for a heatwave near the end of the week as it's supposed to get up to freezing (32).
My dog is depressed!
