Sure is good to see there are still some Richmond area MINIs interested in reforming a club in the area. There have been several attempts, but nothing seems to materialize unfortunately. That's a real shame, simply because Crown MINI is very supportive of the MINI community, even referring members to us down here at Hampton Roads club MINI.

We've offered several times to help generate interest in the Richmond area and get a club rolling. We still do the Cooper Vineyard run, which hopefully this year won't have a hurricane AND an earthquake in the same week! We also have several other events throughout the state of VA and into WV and would absolutely love to see more Richmond area MINIs show up.

If we can do anything to help get y'all organized up there shoot me an email to maacodale@aol.com and I'll be glad to offer any advice or assistance I can.

In the meantime, feel free to join HR MINI at www.hrmini.com toget your MINI fix!

Awesome thanks I appreciate the reply. I would love to see something get started up in Richmond. I have been to your site quote a few time already and am really interested in joining yall on your vineyard run. Would I have to join the club before hand?

I don't see an issue with two people being a club. Like Blue Coop89 said, "A club has to start somewhere"!

He and I have talked a few times to help give the Richmond area a boost. Lets set up a lunch or something up that was and get a meet going.

In case you did not see the post about Central Virginia Mini Cooper Club, please note that since I moved to Ohio, it is now in the hands of Tim Stapler at Crown Mini, Richmond. I'm sure he would be glad to have some help! By the way, I'm starting another club here on South Bass Island: Victory Mini Cooper Club was born yesterday! "They" tell me perseverance pays off.

One of the easiest things to do is to set up a facebook page. Super easy and gets LOTS of hits. HR MINI's facebook page gets more hits than or website does. I'd really suggest having someone set it up. It's a great way to get the word out! Let m eknow if ya need any help.

There have been several attempts to organize...and more important, to sustain an area MINI club for RVA.

Even I've started one up, RVA MINIS. Here's a link to the Facebook page:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/RVA-MINIs/224489174247851

I've been pretty consumed at work for a long time now. But I'm looking to organize a meetup on the southside (Woodlake area) sometime in late March or early April.

I'm also working on rebooting the RVA MINIs website soon as well.
