Hi Folks, I have a Paceman S, All4 in Blazing Red with a White Roof/Mirrors ordered. It's already build and waiting transport. I'm having a problem ordering the pictured shortened and rounded rear bonnet stripes. My MA has secured the front bonnet stripes, but says no one at Mini knows anything about a part number for the rear stripes. I had a similar problem getting bonnet stripes for my Countryman. I know I can have someone try to custom cut stripes, but I'd prefer the stripes be from Mini. I figured since this car and its stripes are used by Mini to promote the car, it would makes sense that someone at Mini would know how to provide them to a customer. Anyone have any thoughts on who I could call at Mini?

 

Looks like they are not out yet. Hood stripes are available. Does not look like the side stripes are out yet also.

I have seen them in person on pre production R61's All 4 with JCW decals.

Which color are you looking for ? Chili red , white , and black is what they most likliy will come out with.

Thanks ECS .... the stripes I'm after are white. Troubling that if the stripes are made available, pre-production or otherwise, on a car used for promotion...that an element of said promotion is unavailable. You'd think that Mini, which promotes itself as having a multitude of ordering possibilities would be loathe that allow this to happen. Anyone with suggestions or workarounds is welcome to contribute. At worst I'm hoping a graphics person can custom cut the look I'm after. Btw, the front stripes will look like this...

 

I didn't have an issue with ordering the front and back stripes for mine. They weren't short like the ones in the picture. I did ask that they remove the Paceman Lettering all together. They said they could order new lettering to place back on, but I think its a lot cleaner without the bling.

On a side note, my dealer seem to be willing to do what I want with the stripes, wouldn't think it would be hard for them to match what you are talking about.

 

Nice look and thanks for your reply!! I had this look with my Countryman and just want to do something a tad different with short stripes in the rear. Weve ordered bonnet stripes for the front and my MA ill have their graphics guy try to cut the long stripes to emulate the JCW stripes.

It's just a shame that the pre-cut stripes seem nowhere to be found!!
