Starts then turns off

It wasnt running for 2 weeks til a new key came in. Dead battery was replaced, nd now it starts but once i put it to drive it turns off. Why? New ignition coils? Nd spark plugs maybe? Help please finals are next week.

We need a little more info. Year and model? Can you get the codes read?
