Hi everyone,

Today I went to start my car everything cranks up, but no engine start. I got this light on my car. Its yellow.

I notice I was able to change the gears when the key was just in the car without it on (automatic).

So I open up the gearshift box and notice the yellow selector lever lock was broken.

Could this be the reason why its not starting or is it something else?

Has anyone else experienced this and knows what to do would be greatly appreciated.

I'm driving: 2011 Mini Cooper countryman R60 automatic
