Quick question...

I have a 05' Cooper Convertible. As most people in this country know , we just had a blizzard in the northeast so I dont know if the foot + of snow we got played a role in this or not...anyway, I put 4 new tires on Wednesday, blizzard came Friday, by Saturday both my DSC Icon and Tire Monitor Icon were both on and wouldnt come off.


The tires are still in perfect condidtion and do not appear to have any
slow leaks...

Do I need to take this to a dealership, or is this something that can easily be resolved on my own?

I have the same year, same problem. There is a "brain" that is shot on mine. I forget what it's called but a new one is $1100. There is a company that will rebuild them for much less. Until it becomes an issue, I'll check my tires and drive like we did before DSC. Hopefully someone will know what the brain is called. Sorry I can't be more (or cheaper!) help.
