Unfortunately, in Ghana the only BMW dealer does not deal in Mini, and even if there is a warranty on it, that warranty is of no value. The half Engine light is on and the DTC is 2C72, we checked the turbo line for any leakages, nothing; changed the boost pressure sensor and one other sensor under the air cleaner. The car Jerks, and at times does respond to acceleration at its will. All parts have to be ordered from either the US or Germany and takes a minimum of 3 weeks, since nobody stocks them in Ghana. Anybody with any ideas on how to get over this problem and get the car on the road?
Anys response to this? Still need help

Has anyone tried changing the simple oring on the fuel cap , I have a R60 2014 post facelift R60 CM SD , 120k miles, just come back from garage had the hosing hub under the thermostat blow out and leak all the coolent ,
Week later and I get intermittent engine light which is Intermittently correlated with filing up fuel , il post back next week with link to the l ring if it's something as simple as the fuel cap seal when it arrives , at least if it isnt it's one thing off the list to try

I apologize for bringing up this old thread. I had a similar issue with my vehicle recently; I didn’t know what to do at first but when I hit up the internet, I came across an in-depth article that may be worth reading. Search for "BMW Check Engine Light Half vs Full Meaning on YOUCANIC" and you will see an article that goes over common causes and possible fixes. You can read about it yourself. I hope this information can assist someone else with a similar issue.

No, thank you for reopening this thread. While driving home from work today my 2015 countryman s light came on and lost acceleration power. Good thing I wasnt on the highway or anything as I had to crawl to pull over and call my insurance to have it towed to a local mechanic. The engine light didn't always come on right away after the car is started, but once I press the gas it comes on. I have no idea what it could be. I'm just hoping whatever the mechanic can figure it out and it isn't an expensive repair. Im saving the Mini dealer as a last resort cause they wanna charge $230 for a diagnostic alone, which is only waived if I let them go ahead with the repairs. I had to replace just the gas cap just last week as I got a warning on the dash saying it was open when it was infact closed. It went away after replacing the cap and worked fine until today .I wonder if it has anything to do with that?
